Stefan Forster

Stefan Forster (born January 20, 1958 in Rockenhausen ) is a German architect .

Life

Forster studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin from 1978 to 1984 . After graduating, he spent a DAAD- sponsored stay in Venice . Forster got his first job in 1986 in the Langhof office in Berlin . He then worked in the Kuhler office in Mannheim from 1986 to 1988 . Here he was involved in the construction of the State Museum for Technology and Labor in Mannheim.

From 1988 to 1993 Forster was assistant to Jürgen Bredow at the chair for housing construction at the Technical University of Darmstadt . He founded his own architecture office in Darmstadt in 1989. In 1995 the office moved to Frankfurt am Main . The focus of his work is on urban living.
