Steffen Lang (born August 14, 1993 in Nördlingen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Lang first played in his youth for FC Pflaumloch and TSV 1861 Nördlingen . In August 2007, he took first place with the C-Junior selection of the Bavarian Football Association at the DFB holiday camp. In July 2008, Lang moved to the youth department of VfB Stuttgart . In his first season there he was German B youth champion .

Lang already made his professional debut as an A-youth on February 22, 2011 in a catch-up game on the 20th match day of the 2010/11 season for the second team of Stuttgart in the 3rd professional league against 1. FC Heidenheim . He signed a licensed player contract with VfB Stuttgart on June 15, 2011, which ran until the end of June 2015.

On June 20, 2015 it was announced that Lang had signed a two-year contract with the second division Arminia Bielefeld . In two years, however, he was only used six times in the 2nd Bundesliga . After the contract expired, he moved to the regional division FC Viktoria Köln . Baumgärtel was champion of the regional league with Viktoria Köln and was promoted to the third league.

National team

On August 23, 2011, Lang came against Estonia for the first time for the German U-19 national team. On his debut, he scored the goal to make it 3-0.
