The Steidelbach is a good half a kilometer long left tributary of Odenbaches in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Kaiserslautern in the area of the municipality Otterbach Otter Mountain belong to local community Schneckenhausen .

The Steidelbach rises in the Untere Lauterhöhen natural area of the North Palatinate Uplands at an altitude of 341 m above sea level. NHN in a green zone in the Brunnenwiesen corridor west of the village of Schneckenhausen.
It flows for almost 700 m east-northeast through fields and meadows and then flows into the Ziegelweiher Wiesen corridor at a height of 326 m , opposite the state road L 382 and the edge of the main settlement part of Schneckenhausen immediately behind it, from the left into the one coming from the south Odenbach .
