The Steigenberger Hotel Stadt Lörrach is a 63 meter high hotel tower in Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg, completed in June 2017 . The hotel building, which houses the Steigenberger hotel chain of the same name , is the second tallest skyscraper in the city and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Loerrach main station .
history
First considerations for the establishment of a hotel on the site of "playground", which for many years as fairground was used for fairs and as a parking area in the city of Lörrach, there were already 2009. The high-rise hotel was removed along with the 200 meters in a straight line Lörracher City Hall is an architectural Fulfilling unity as a “gate”, that is the idea of the architect who was awarded the contract during the project phase.
In spring 2014, an investor bought the building plot. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in September of the same year . After the excavation and the foundation , the multi-storey building could begin in summer 2015. After the completion in 2016, the hotel was officially opened on June 1st, 2016.

The skyscraper has 20 floors, the facade of which is designed so that two floors are combined. The 63 meter high house has a square floor plan of 23 meters in length and has an underground car park for almost 100 cars and the technical rooms on the underground floors.
The hotel tower houses 178 rooms, including 27 upscale suites and four exclusive. Attached to the tower are two four-story extensions with 38 studios and seven apartments for longer stays. A fitness area is set up on the 20th floor. The hotel also has 10 conference and seminar rooms on the first two floors of 450 square meters and an event location of 130 square meters. A restaurant is located on the ground floor. The hotel tower and its two extensions form a corner with a garden area in the inner courtyard.
