The Steinbach is a right tributary of the Jossa in the Bavarian district of Main-Spessart and in the Hessian Main-Kinzig district in the Spessart .

The Steinbach rises in Bavaria in the hamlet of Emmerichsthal (originally Steinbach ) that belongs to Obersinn . After heavy rain or snowmelt , the stream emerges further up the valley. The Steinbach runs in a northerly direction, crosses the state border to Hesse and flows into the Jossa from the right in Jossa .
