The Steinbach is the right or western source river of the Felchbach in the Central Franconian districts of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen and Roth .

The Steinbach rises on the Schloßberg between Schloßberg and Haag in the district of Roth at an altitude of 535  m above sea level. NN . After crossing the border to the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, it feeds a few ponds south of Haag. Then the Steinbach flows at an altitude of 451  m above sea level. NN east of Engelreuth with the Flurbach together.
