The Steinhauser Rottum is a river in the Biberach district . After a roughly 9 km long run it flows approximately in a northerly direction in Ochsenhausen with the left Bellamonter Rottum coming from the south-southwest to the Rottum , which then runs north to northwest to the Danube tributary Westernach .
Alternatively, the Steinhauser Rottum is also called Untere Rottum , and accordingly the Bellamonter Rottum is also called Obere Rottum . Others beat the noticeably longer upper reaches of the Bellamonter Rottum, which has only a tad less catchment area than the Steinhauser Rottum, to the Rottum itself.
geography
course
The Steinhauser Rottum flows from several spring arms in a basin southeast of Englisweiler and then northwards past Englisweiler, which stands over a left side valley basin, towards Steinhausen an der Rottum . It also goes around this place on the left slope in the southeast and east. Then it moves on and west past Oberstetten to Ochsenhausen . In its core city it unites with the Bellamonter Rottum coming from the south-southwest after 8.9 km to the Rottum .
