Steinkimmen is a district of the community Ganderkesee in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .

Geography and transport links

The district is located northwest of the core area of ​​Ganderkesee. To the north is Kimmer Holz . The Brookbäke flows on the southern outskirts .

The state road L 888 runs through the village. The A 28 runs a short distance north.

  • Southeast of Steinkimmen is the Steinkimmen transmitter , an NDR system that has been in operation since 1956.
