The grave was built on sandy ground and had a rounded mound surrounded by a stone ring. A small, east-west oriented burial chamber made of red sandstone slabs stood inside. It was 5 feet (about 1.5 m) long and 3.5 feet (about 1 m) wide. The chamber was filled with sand and contained small pieces of red sandstone that might have come from the removed cover plate. Only poorly preserved remains of a human skull were left from the funeral. The only grave object found was a jug with a large ribbon handle, a spherical base and a decoration made up of vertical groups of lines.
