The name "Kellersteine" is represented three times in the Wildeshauser Geest . The other groups are the Ahlhorner Kellersteine further west and the Holzhauser Kellersteine further east .

description

Appendix 941

Steinloger cellar stones (Annex 941)

In the northeast-southwest-oriented installation 941, all 13 bearing stones (six on the northwest, five on the southeast side and one keystone each) are present, but partly not in situ . Two of the five capstones are missing, the rest are no longer in situ. The chamber is 7.5 × 1.5 meters in size. A blast hole can be seen on a broken capstone. Remnants of a hill or a border cannot be detected. Access is also not recognizable.

Appendix 942

Steinloger cellar stones (Annex 942)

In the northeast-southwest-oriented system 942, which is ten meters away, the chamber measures 5.4 × 1.5 meters. One of the ten regularly arranged supporting stones is missing, as is the case of the four cap stones. The access should have been in the middle of the south-eastern long side. Excavations or findings from an earlier period are not known. In 1992, a number of fragments of the funnel beaker culture were recovered from the ejecta of a rabbit hole, which could be assembled into several vessel parts. They allow the occupancy of the facility to be dated to the older and middle phase of the western group of the TBK.
