Stephan Schoeps

Stephan Schoeps (born April 18, 1958 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German general staff doctor and commander of health facilities and deputy inspector of the medical service of the Bundeswehr in the medical service of the Bundeswehr , Koblenz.

Life

Stephan Schoeps joined the German Armed Forces in 1977 and completed an officer training course at the medical academy of the German Armed Forces in Munich as a medical officer candidate . He then studied human medicine at the University of Essen until 1983 and received his doctorate in 1985. From 1983 to 1985 he worked as an assistant doctor in the field of internal medicine at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Hamm . From 1990 to 1992 Schoeps took over the post as advisor for international relations in the Federal Ministry of Defense with the inspector of the medical service in Bonn , then until 1998 as advisor for conception, operational management, Bundeswehr and study planning. He then went back to the command academy in Hamburg for two years as a lecturer for the medical service and representative of the inspector of the medical service at the command academy of the Bundeswehr. From July 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015, Schoeps was the commander of the medical service support command. On January 1, 2016, he became the commander of health facilities and deputy inspector of the Bundeswehr Medical Service in the Bundeswehr Medical Service Command in Koblenz.

Stephan Schoeps is married and has one son.
