Stephen Ewen (partly also Steven Ewen ; born February 25, 1980 in Belfast , Northern Ireland , United Kingdom ) is a former Northern Irish ice hockey player who spent his entire career on the Irish island. Internationally he plays for the Irish national ice hockey team .

Career

Stephen Ewen, who was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, began his career with the Castlereagh Knights , for whom he made his debut in the British National League's Northern Premier League at the age of 16 . He later played for the Dundalk Bulls of the Republic of Ireland and the Belfast City Bruins in the Irish Ice Hockey League . After the 2011/12 season, which he spent with the lower class Northern Ireland Prowlers , he ended his career.

International

Ewen, a British national, played with the Irish national team in the Division II World Championships in 2008 and 2011 and in the Division III World Championships in 2007 , 2010 , 2012 and 2013 .
