Steve Boyum

Steve Boyum (* 9. September 1952 in Los Angeles County as Steven Maurice Boyum ) is an American Stuntman , film and television director .

Life

Boyum grew up in Los Angeles. He intensively played various sports such as surfing, skiing and motocross and also worked as a physical education teacher in all of these disciplines before he was hired as a stuntman in Hollywood. He has lived in Palm Springs since 1987 .

Boyum has appeared as a stunt man in over 60 films . He made his first experiences as a director as a second unit director for the films Promised is Promised (1996), George - Who Came from the Jungle (1997) and Mystery - New York: A Game for Honor (1999). He made his debut as a feature film director in the surfer comedy Meet the Deedles (1998) starring Dennis Hopper , Paul Walker and Robert Englund .

Since 2006 Boyum has mainly worked as a director for television series . He staged individual episodes of Black Sails , Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten , Criminal Minds , Hawaii Five-0 , Human Target , Jericho - The Attack , Navy CIS: LA and Numbers - The Logic of Crime
