The Stillach is a 25 km long mountain stream and the southern and central source river of the Iller in the Allgäu Alps , Bavaria ( Germany ).

course

Its source is near the southernmost point of Germany, where it rises as Haldenwanger Bach not far from the Haldenwanger Eck . North of its origin, the brook is called Rappenalpbach and from Einödsbach it is called Stillach, which then flows through the Stillachtal (occasionally also called Birgsaual) towards Oberstdorf . The Stillach flows through the Oberstdorf basin in the west. At the source of the Iller north of Oberstdorf, it joins the Breitach (from left) and Trettach (from right) to form the Iller .
