The Stinson Reliant was a single-engine aircraft produced by the US company Stinson Aircraft in high- wing design. It was equipped with four or five seats.

Between 1933 and 1941 a total of 1327 aircraft of this type were built in various designs. The last model, the Stinson Reliant SR-10, was produced from 1938.

Mission history

The SR-10 was used by the US Army as a light transport aircraft ( UC-81 , R3Q ), liaison aircraft ( L-12 ) and as a trainer aircraft ( AT-19 ) during World War II . In addition, it was also used as a light liaison and transport aircraft by the British Fleet Air Arm and Royal Air Force . After the war, the aircraft came on the civilian market under the name Vultee V-77 .
