Suat Arslanboğa (born June 4, 1978 in Malatya ) is a Turkish football referee .

Career

Arslanboğa passed his referee examination in 1996 at the age of 18 in his native Malatya.

He made his debut in the highest Turkish football league, the Süper Lig , on October 6, 2007. Arslanboğa led the match between Bursaspor and Hacettepespor .

Due to poor performance in the 2013/14 Süper Lig season , he was relegated to the TFF 1st Lig . For the 2015/16 season he rose again to the first division.

Private

In 1987, at the age of nine, Arslanboğa began playing football in the youth of Malatyaspor . Due to a knee injury, he only played there for a few years and then devoted himself to refereeing.

He completed his school career in his hometown of Malatya and then moved to Kayseri , where he trained as a sports teacher .

Arslanboğa has a total of three siblings, two sisters and one brother. His brother Ruhi was also a soccer referee up to the TFF 2nd Lig .
