Barış Şimşek (* 9. April 1976 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football referee of FIFA .

Career

Şimşek completed his referee examination in 1999 in his native Trabzon . Şimşek made his debut as a referee in the Süper Lig on April 23, 2006; he directed the meeting between Konyaspor and Sivasspor .
