Serkan Çınar (born April 14, 1976 in Kırklareli ) is a Turkish football referee .

Soccer

Çınar passed his referee examination in the city of Van . He made his debut in the Süper Lig on September 13, 2008 when Konyaspor played against Denizlispor (final score 1: 1).

Private

Çınar made his school education in the city of Babaeski and then in Lüleburgaz .

At the age of eight, he got to know football in his spare time with street football. He then started playing football at the amateur club Alpullu Şekerspor and played here for four years. At the age of 13, he switched to Kırklareli Camspor . During his school days he improved his football skills and was thus selected for the football school selection. Çınar also got an invitation, together with Emre Aşık and Alpay Özalan , to the Olympic soccer team in Istanbul . Due to important championship games of his club, he could not accept the invitation.

A few months after his invitation, he moved to Bakırköyspor , but could not play due to an injury. Thereupon he got an acceptance from the Trakya University in Edirne and started with the sport handball because of his injury . After only one year, he moved his studies back to Van , which he completed after four years. Shortly thereafter, he signed up for the referee course.
