Sultan Haydar
Sultan Haydar (birth name Chaltu Girma Meshesha ; * May 23, 1985 ) is a Turkish middle and long distance runner of Ethiopian origin.
In 2005 she was third over 800 m at the Junior African Championships .
Starting for her new home, she won gold in the 1500m at the U23 European Championships in 2009 and the U23 European Cross Country Championships in Dublin .
At the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona, she did not reach the goal over 1500 m in the run-up.
In 2011 she was seventh in the RAK half marathon , ninth over 3000 m in the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Paris and seventh in the Istanbul marathon .
The 1.70 meter tall Haydar was in the squad for the Turkish team for the 2012 Summer Olympics . In London she covered the Olympic marathon distance in 2: 38.26 hours. This put them in 72nd place in the final ranking.
Haydar, a sports teacher student at Dumlupinar University in Kutahya , starts for the Istanbul Uskudar Municipality Sports Club . Your trainer is Ihsan Alptekin .
