Sulzbach ( ) is a district of the town of Hofheim in Lower Franconia in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge in northern Bavaria .
Geography and transport links
Sulzbach is northeast of the core town of Hofheim in Lower Franconia. The Ermetz flows through the village and flows into the Baunach , a right tributary of the Main , on the southern edge of the village . The HAS 40 runs south of the village and further south the federal highway 303 .
history
The place originally consisted of Ober-, Mittel- and Untersulzbach. Mittelulzbach is first mentioned in a document in 1105. Today's Sulzbach is said to have been built on the site of the former Untersulzbach.
