Sumetendorf is a place in the market town of Strem in Burgenland. The Hungarian place name is Szombatfa .
The place has about 30 houses and 50 inhabitants, a chapel and a volunteer fire brigade . An earlier place name was Zumendorf . From 1893 to 1939, many residents emigrated to America.
