Susanne Porsche (born Susanne Bresser in Frankfurt am Main on June 4, 1952 ) is a German film and television entrepreneur and investor .

Life

Professional background

In the media sector

Susanne Porsche worked as a presenter for a while from 1979 during her medical studies, which she later dropped out of without a degree in order to work in the media sector. This was followed by work as a writer and director for children's programs on ZDF , before she went freelance as a producer in 1983.

In 1990 Porsche founded MPS mediaproductions by susanne porsche GmbH . This went on in 2001 in the corporate group of Auratis AG .

In 2002 she founded SANset Film & Fernsehproduktionen GmbH , which filed for bankruptcy on December 18, 2007.

In 2007, Susanne Porsche founded summerset GmbH and continues to work there as an independent television producer.

In September 2010, Susanne Porsche took over Neue Münchner Fernsehproduktion .

As a business angel

In addition to her work in film and television production, Susanne Porsche invests in start-up companies (as of 2018: 25). Her involvement in this area is broad and ranges from Secucloud , a cloud-based security software , to Terraloupe , which analyzes aerial photos with artificial intelligence , to Auticon , which only uses people in the autism spectrum as IT consultants, and a care box that provides materials for provides home care and supports the customer in getting the costs reimbursed by health insurers. In 2018, the entrepreneur received the Golden Aurora award for her commitment, which is awarded annually to Europe's female business angel by BAND (Business Angels Network Germany) and BAE (Business Angels Europe).

Private

Susanne Porsche was married to Wolfgang Porsche from 1988 to 2008 and has two sons with him. The family lived in Munich and in Zell am See ( Austria ). She has lived with the legal scholar Werner F. Ebke since 2018 .

Memberships

Susanne Porsche is chairwoman of the supervisory board of Vermögenskultur AG, a company for family assets and foundations in Munich, founded in 2010 . She was a member of the advisory board of the Vodafone Foundation.

Susanne Porsche is involved in cultural issues. Since 1999 she has been a member of the extended board of the European Academy for Women in Politics and Business .
