Svartlå ( Lule : Bulldog ) is a place ( Småort ) in the Swedish province of Norrbotten County and the historic province of Norrbotten .
The place is about 30 km northwest of the municipality of Boden and about 60 km northwest of the city of Luleå on Lule älv . Riksväg 97 runs through Svartlå and Länsvägar 748, 749 and 752 branch off .
Until 2005, Övre Svartlå was designated as an independent Småort / Tatort . From 2010, a joint crime scene with Nedre Svartlå was identified under the name Svartlå . However, the place no longer met the criteria of a crime scene in 2015 .
The Storklinten ski area is located two kilometers north of Svartlå .
