Sven Helander
Sven Helander (born August 10, 1889 in Gothenburg , † February 3, 1970 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish economist who had a chair in Nuremberg.
Helander passed the commercial school exams at the Berlin Commercial College in 1911, received his doctorate in Freiburg in 1916, became a lecturer in economics and sociology in Gothenburg in 1916 , then professor in Kiel in 1924 and at the Nuremberg Commercial College from 1928. There he was rector in 1932/33. In November 1933 he signed the German professors' confession of Adolf Hitler . He was influenced by Karl Diehl and Werner Sombart . In 1945 he was involved in the surrender of Dinkelsbühl without a fight to save the city. He was the Swedish consul general .
