Svetlana Ognjenović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Светлана Огњеновић ; born January 26, 1981 in Osijek ) is a former Serbian handball player .

Career

Svetlana Ognjenović played in her home country with ŽRK Radnički Belgrade, ŽRK Knjaz Miloš and ŽRK Naisa Niš, with whom she became Serbian champion in 2007. After she ran up for the Danish club Slagelse FH in the 2007/08 season, the 1.66-meter-tall left winger then moved to France to Metz Handball . With Metz she won the championship in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2014, the French Cup in 2010 and 2013, and the French League Cup in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
