Career

Baburyna formed a duo with Halyna Oschejko in 2003 , who came in second in the group at the European Championships in Alanya in the round of 16 and lost to the Swiss Kuhn / Schnyder-Benoit . The following year, the Ukrainians were eliminated in the preliminary round of the European Championship in Timmendorfer Strand . In 2005 they got some high places in satellite tournaments. At the European Championship in Moscow they lost their second game against the Russians Schirjajewa / Urjadowa and were eliminated against the German duo Flemig / Semmler . In 2006 in The Hague , they failed with two tiebreaker defeats against the Latvians Jursone / Minusa and the Germans Pohl / Rau . The 2007 European Championship tournaments in Valencia and 2008 in Hamburg were also less successful , with Baburyna / Oschejko failing in the second and first round of losers. Shortly after the European Championship in 2008 they reached the final of the Grand Slam in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee . At the 2009 World Cup they had to give up as third party in the first main round to the eventual world champions Ross / Kessy from the USA.

In 2010 Baburyna competed for the first time at the Grand Slam in Stare Jabłonki with her new partner Wyktoryja Smetanjuk . However, the new duo did not achieve any top placements. In 2011 Baburyna played three tournaments with Ynna Machno .
