Switlodolynske ( Ukrainian Світлодолинське ; Russian Светлодолинское Svetlodolinskoje ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 600 inhabitants (2001).
The 1804 by German settlers under the name Lichtenau ( Ліхтенау ) as part of the Black Sea German Mennonites - Molotschna village founded received its present name 1945th Switlodolynske is the administrative center of the same name, 94.091 km² district municipality in northern Rajon Melitopol to which even the villages Kamjanske ( Кам'янське , ⊙ ) with about 290 inhabitants, Orlowe ( Орлове , ⊙ ) with about 1100 inhabitants, Prylukiwka ( Прилуківка , ⊙ ) with about 200 inhabitants and Trawnewe ( Травневе , ⊙ ) with about 180 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 22 m on the left bank of the Molochna , a 197 km long tributary of the Sea of Azov . Through the village runs the territorial road T – 04–01 , which leads after 33 km south to the Rajon center Melitopol and after 30 km north to the city of Tokmak in the geographical center of the oblast. The city of Zaporizhia is located about 115 km north of Switlodolynske. The village has a train station on the Nowa Kachowka –Tokmak line.
