Sylvia Panter

Sylvia Panter (born November 7, 1962 in Moers ; † May 11, 2014 in Munich ) was a German actress , director and theater director .

Life

Panter studied art history, theater studies and modern German literature from 1982 to 1987 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . Sylvia Panter has been part of the Pathos Transport Theater ensemble since 1983 . During this time she worked in various fields, with a focus on acting, directing and video performance. From 1991 to 2001 she directed the pathos transport theater . She also worked as a director with other theaters, such as the TamS - Theater am Sozialamt in Munich, the Fisch & Plastik Theater in Munich; the dance theater Andrea Lesjak & Karen Effenberger in Munich, the Schauspielhaus Leipzig , the Schauspielhaus Erfurt and the Bavarian State Theater .

In the past few years under her direction, the pathos transport Theater has produced productions such as "Genet under supervision" by Jean Genet , "Carrington" down by Leonora Carrington , "Shoppen & Ficken" by Mark Ravenhill and with the implementation of the theater / club "Pathos 2000" has been given new accents.

The worsening financial situation of the theater forced Sylvia Panter to resign in 2002.

Since October 2002 she has been working as an assistant in the visitor service and in the art education of the Bavarian State Painting Collections . In 2005 she co-founded the Palais Pinakothek project , which was unexpectedly discontinued in autumn 2014.

As a theater director, director, actress, video director, sound designer, event and cultural manager, Sylvia Panter was a figure in Munich's independent theater scene.
