Sylvia Wintergreen

Sylvia Wintergrün (* 1957 in Duisburg ) is a German actress and singer.

Life

Wintergrün was already on stage as a child with the children's ballet of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe . After training in classical dance in Cologne , she was hired as a solo dancer at various theaters ( Hagen , Münster , Kaiserslautern ). She trained in singing and acting in Hamburg and Berlin . She gained her first musical experience in Kaiserslautern with well-known directors such as Larry Fuller and Irene Mann . Under the direction of Helmut Baumann , she was one of the soloists at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. She played the main roles in numerous productions a. a. in "Nine", "Sweet Charity" and "My Fair Lady". With the “Kurt Weill Revue” and the “UFA Revue” the artist had successful guest appearances in Washington and Paris . At Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin she took over the moderation of the anniversary revue "Palastrevue" and a main part in the revue "Winter Dreams". Further engagements in Berlin were at the Schlosspark Theater and the Wintergarten Variete. For the Woelffer-Bühnen ( Theater am Kurfürstendamm , Comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus ) she played in Hamburg, Berlin and on tours a. a. in “Alles Astro”, “Das Apartment” and “Calendar Girls”. At the Grenzlandtheater Aachen she could be seen in "Eight Women", "Popcorn" and "Willkommen im Paradies", played at the National Theater Mannheim in "My Fair Lady" and at the Bad Hersfeld Festival in "Anatevka".

In addition to her theater work, Sylvia Wintergrün has also appeared in front of the camera for numerous television productions such as Tatort or Big City Dreams.

Sylvia Wintergrün is married and lives in Berlin.
