Kill or die! (Original title: Tails You Live, Heads You're Dead ) is an American thriller directed by Tim Matheson from 1995 and based on the short story Liar's Dice by Bill Pronzini .

Jeffrey Quint, a family man, goes to a bar where he meets Neil Jones. You pass the time with a game of dice. Jones reveals he is a serial killer and Quint is his next victim. At first Quint does not believe him; on the way home, however, he is followed by Jones.
Quint turns to the police, but they do not help him. He becomes active himself and hires a private detective. With his help, he learns the place of residence and the true identity of "Jones" (namely Roy Francis Netter, owner of a security company who had been fired from Quint's company), and lets him believe that his murder attempt on him was a success.
Then Quint, the private detective and a work colleague use the opportunity to break into Netter. There they can find evidence that he is a serial killer. However, Netter learns of the break-in, and so it finally comes to an armed showdown, in which Quint wins.
