Trikk17 - Animationsraum GmbH & Co. KG is a German animation studio based in Hamburg . The company, which was founded as a stop-motion studio, produces stop-motion, cartoons and cutout animation films.

history

The company was founded in 2001 and is managed by the four partners Marion Heinßen, Sandra Schießl , Sören Wendt and Björn Magsig. The studio created the music video Rooftop (2002) for the singer Sasha and the Marunde spots for NDR as well as the associated short film Marundes Landleben based on Wolf-Rüdiger Marunde . Trikk17 produced advertising and image films for Coca-Cola , Opel , Deutsche Post , Wrigley , Gruner + Jahr and Tchibo . It also created the ARD Neanderthal spots for the ARD Sportschau in the 2006/2007 Bundesliga season. Trikk17 also regularly produces short films for children's series such as Löwenzahn (ZDF), Siebenstein (ZDF) and Die Sendung mit der Maus (WDR). The music video for the song Ding by the Berlin reggae / dancehall group Seeed was later created .

In 2007 Trikk17 was the first German film studio to produce a story based on Astrid Lindgren entirely in Germany. The film Tomte Tummetott and the Fox received a Grimme Prize in 2008 .
