The TSV 1860 Mühldorf e. V. is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian town of Mühldorf am Inn , whose volleyball men's team is represented in the 2nd Volleyball Bundesliga South after being promoted from the third volleyball league in the 2020/21 season .
Volleyball department
history
The volleyball department of TSV Mühldorf was founded in 1979 and participated in the 2019/20 season with 36 teams in the game.
So far, four German championship titles have been won with the male youth teams: U16 (2010), U18 and U20 (both 2013) and U14 (2019). The brothers Ferdinand , Leonhard and Johannes Tille come from Mühldorf am Inn and started playing volleyball at TSV Mühldorf.
At the end of the canceled 2019/20 season, TSV Mühldorf was in second place in the 3rd Bundesliga. Since the first-placed TSV Eibelstadt renounced promotion to the 2nd division, the Mühldorfer will play in the 2nd Bundesliga volleyball for the first time in the club's history in the 2020/21 season .
