Taşkın Aksoy (born June 13, 1967 in West Berlin , Germany ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach .
Player career
Aksoy from West Berlin began his football career at Hertha BSC . He made his first games as an active player in the amateur league . After Hertha was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga , he played two games in the second-highest German division in the 1988/89 season . After the season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Boluspor .
In 1991 he returned to Germany, to Türkiyemspor Berlin . In 1993 he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he became a regular player. After the first year he rose with the club in the Regionalliga Nord , in which he played until 1997. Then he tried a second time as a professional footballer in Turkey, this time at Kocaelispor . After 15 games in the Süper Lig 1997/98 and four games in the European Cup Winners' Cup , he moved to the second Turkish league, the 1st Lig , to Kayserispor. Aksoy, who had actually decided to stay in Turkey permanently, went back to Germany in 1999 because he was facing 18 months of military service in Turkey.
So the West Berliner joined the amateurs of his former club Tennis Borussia Berlin in order to keep fit. After a good training performance, he was again a player for the Berliners. Since he was able to convince the amateurs in the Regionalliga Nord , he came to work for the first team of TeBe in the 1999/2000 season , which had meanwhile been promoted back to the 2nd Bundesliga . He was henceforth a regular player, but TeBe rose twice from a row and ended 2001/02 finally in the league .
In 2002 he moved to SV Yeşilyurt Berlin in the association league and was Berlin champion , in which he had a significant share with 17 goals scored. After promotion, he played another year in the league and ended his career in 2004.
Coaching career
In 2003, Aksoy from West Berlin received his A-trainer license at the Hennef sports school . After his playing career he was coach of the B-youth of Tennis Borussia. After 2007 successfully completed the training as a football coach (UEFA Prolizenz), he trained 2007/08 Berlin Ankaraspor in the league . From summer 2009 he was coach of the regional league team Türkiyemspor Berlin , after he had already looked after the club's A-youth. Aksoy was released in April 2010, and for the 2010/11 season he was again coach of Türkiyemspor. On October 11, 2010 the renewed separation took place by mutual agreement, this time due to financial difficulties of the club. For the 2012/2013 season, Aksoy took over the U23 from Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Regionalliga West . On February 23, 2015 he was entrusted with the training of the Fortuna first team until further notice, after the club separated from coach Oliver Reck . From July 2015 to March 2018, Aksoy then trained again for the club's U-23s.
