Takahiro Morita
Takahiro "Taka" Morita (* 17th April 1988 in Tokyo as Takahiro Moriuchi ) is a Japanese musician and lead singer of the rock band One Ok Rock . From 2003 to 2004 he was a founding member of the Japanese band NEWS . Taka writes the lyrics and composes the band's songs.
Life
Morita is the son of the Japanese singer Shinichi Mori and the singer Masako Mori. His younger brother, Hiroki Moriuchi , is the lead singer of the band My First Story .
In 2003 Morita joined the J-Pop boy group NEWS (band) . In 2004 he left the band to concentrate on his studies. In the same year he was a member of the band Chivalry of Music for a short time.
After his parents separated in 2005, he changed his last name to Morita.
