Tanja de Wendt (* 1967 in Germany ) is a German stunt woman and actress .
Life
Tanja de Wendt had after her diploma odd jobs in various fields, such. B. in the office and as a waitress. When she was serving a group of stunt people in a Düsseldorf bistro one day, she made her first contact with the industry and in 1991 decided to change jobs.
She gained her first experience at action concept , the company of the stunt specialist Hermann Joha , and was used in the action series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei . In 1994, together with Joha, she set up her own stunt school at action concept to train the next generation. In 1996 Tanja de Wendt started her own business and, in addition to her role as a stunt woman and occasional actress (in small roles), she also began to train the next generation independently. In 1995 she took private acting lessons at the Kölner Kunstverein and at the Folkwangschule in Essen .
The artists that Tanja de Wendt has doubled so far include Hannelore Hoger , Katja Riemann , Ann-Kathrin Kramer , Sandra Speichert and Alexandra Kamp . In addition, she now coordinates stunt scenes herself, makes short films and trains theater artists from the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus for stunt scenes . In this area she was involved in the stage productions Bullets Over Broadway , The Auditor and A Certain M. Plume . Tanja de Wendt also holds the world record in free fall (180 meters from the Düsseldorf TV tower ). She describes her participation in the sequence of the burning cinema in Quentin Tarantino's war film Inglourious Basterds as her most dangerous stunt to date .
Tanja de Wendt was temporarily the partner of the singer Guildo Horn , with whom she had worked together in 1998 on his film Washing, Cutting, Placing .
