Tarnoruda (Ukrainian and Russian Тарноруда ; Polish Tarnoruda ) is a village in Pidvolochysk Raion of Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine .

Church in place

The place is about 47 kilometers east of the oblast capital Ternopil and 14 kilometers south of the Rajons capital Pidvolochysk on the bank of the Sbrutsch , on the opposite side is the sister village Tarnoruda . On August 9, 2015, the settlement became part of the newly established settlement community of Pidwolochysk (Підволочиська селищна громада / Pidwolotschyska selyschtschna hromada ). Until then he was part of the district council of Turiwka ( Турівка ).

The place was mentioned for the first time in 1578 (it was founded by the Odrowąż family ), later received Magdeburg town charter and was initially in the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania , Podolia voivodeship as part of the aristocratic republic of Poland . After the end of the war, the place was added to the Soviet Union , where Tarnoruda, which was now downgraded to a village, was part of the Ukrainian SSR and has been part of today's Ukraine since 1991.
