The TAROX AG is a non- listed German hardware manufacturer based in Lüner district Brambauer ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ). TAROX is also an IT service provider. The customer base mainly includes system house partners and specialist retail customers.
In 2016, TAROX AG employed around 170 people and almost 20 trainees . Together with the two sales offices in Braunschweig and Dresden , the company generated 166 million euros in sales in the 2015/2016 financial year .
history
Tarox was founded in 1993 as CAF Peripheral-Computer-Vertriebs GmbH . Seven years later renamed to TAROX Systems & Services GmbH and carried out acquisition of COBBIT computer group , Dresden / Radebeul . TAROX Holding AG was founded in the same year . In 2001 the main location in Lünen was expanded by approx. 1,800 m² in order to integrate TAROX Systems & Services GmbH into TAROX Holding AG, which was completed in 2002. Lünen then served as the central production point. There was a merger between TAROX and CRANE Computer in 2003.
TAROX has had a logistics center in Lünen since 2006 . In 2007 the TAROX solution business virtualization and storage started . A branch was established in Braunschweig in 2011 . After a change of name in 2012, TAROX came to today's name TAROX AG .
Business model
Own brands - products from the PC s, notebooks , server and storage segments , a diverse distribution portfolio and services in the areas of consulting , service, IT security , data cloud and support are bundled in five business areas . The five business pillars Machines, Distribution, Consulting, Data and Services form an overall product that offers customers a bundled range of services for realizing their orders.
