The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Ouen in Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie , a district of the French commune of Val-Couesnon in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , was created in the 16th century. In 1951, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The granite baptismal font with two basins made from one stone block was taken from the previous building of today's church.

One basin was used to store the water for baptism , the other was used for baptism .
