Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Val-Couesnon with 830 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Ille-et-Vilaine in the region of Brittany .
During the revolution , the municipality was called Ouen-la-Montagne, and in 1961 the name was changed from Saint-Ouen-de-la-Rouërie to Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie.
The municipality of Saint-Ouen-la-Rouërie was merged with La Fontenelle , Antrain and Tremblay on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Val-Couesnon. It belonged to the Arrondissement Fougères-Vitré and the canton of Antrain .
Neighboring communities of Saint-Ouen were Sacey , Saint-James with Montanel in the department of Manche and Coglès , Tremblay and Antrain in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine.
