Baptismal font in Jouy-le-Comte

The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Denis in Jouy-le-Comte , a district of the French commune of Parmain in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was created in the 13th century. In 1911, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The stone baptismal font is carved on the upper edge with a frieze of oak leaves. A lead bowl is inserted in the basin.
