Tc 1 ( Thackeray 1 ) is a planetary nebula about 2000 to 3000 parsec distant with an apparent diameter of 12 ", 9 × 12", 2. In 2010, the first fullerenes were found in space with the Spitzer space telescope . Thus, these molecules are the largest ever found in space.
