The Land Systems Technology Training Center ( ents ) is the successor to the Land Systems Technical School and Army Technical College for Technology in Aachen ( Lützow , Dr.-Leo-Löwenstein and Theodor-Körner barracks ) and in Eschweiler ( Donnerberg barracks ). The center as one of the Army Training Centers is responsible for education and training of all maintenance forces particularly the Army and the other armed forces and military divisions.

The commander of the Training Center for Land Systems Technology is also the General of the Army Logistics Troops (formerly: General of the Repair Troops ). The AuszTLS is divided into:

history
On May 2, 1956, the advance staff for the military military school to be set up arrived in the Colonel General Beck barracks in Sonthofen . In 1959 the field equipment school was reclassified and renamed the Technical School of the Army in Sonthofen . In 1963 the school was renamed School of Technical Troops III . In 1964 the school was moved to Aachen. The training battalion 480 was separated from the military school; In return, 4th Company of Mixed Repair Battalion 120 became the school's teaching company. In 1966 it was renamed School of Technical Troop I again . By 1973 the Eschweiler technical college of the army was incorporated. The merged school was renamed School Technical Troop 1 and Technical College of the Army for Technology . Since 1976 the troop school and its special ATV staff have been responsible for logistical troop trials. In 1991 it was renamed the Technical School of the Army and the Technical School of the Army for Technology . Since 1995 the school commander has also been the general of the repair troops. In 2007 the school was renamed the Technical School Land Systems and Technical College of the Army for Technology . The teaching group C harly was reclassified at the end of 2007 and divided between teaching groups A and B. As part of the HEER2011 structure, the TSL / FSHT was restructured and on June 19, 2015, at a ceremonial roll call by the commander of the training command, it was renamed the Training Center for Land Systems Technology (entsZTLS).
Practice area at the Aachen location
For the existing barracks in Aachen, an on-site training area of the Bundeswehr with an area of 224.9 hectares is available on a site near Brand (Brander Heide). Primarily for the Training Center for Land Systems Technology (ents). Former shooting ranges of the Aachen barracks are now out of order.
