Tecno was an Italian Formula 1 racing team. It was founded by the Pederzani brothers in Bologna and in the early years built kart chassis ( Tecnokart ) that are still in use today.

The racing team worked its way up to Formula 1 through the development of Formula 3 and Formula 2 chassis (1970 F2 European Championship for Clay Regazzoni). Between 1972 and 1973 Tecno took part in ten world championship races. Ron Tauranac was involved in the design of the car . In 1973, Chris Amon won sixth place at the Belgian Grand Prix, the only world championship point for the team.
