Tigin

Tigin or Tegin (in the Orkhon inscriptions : ???? ; with Arabic-Persian letters تكينwritten; Pl. Tigit or tegit ) is an old Turkish title with the meaning prince (or prince ), which was also used very often as part of the name in the medieval Orient (among Turkish immigrants). Typical compositions are:
