The pond bat waters in the Nienburger march are a protected landscape area in the Lower Saxon town of Nienburg / Weser in Nienburg / Weser . Small parts are also in the municipality of Marklohe in the joint municipality of Marklohe in the district of Nienburg / Weser.

The protected landscape area with the sign LSG NI 63 is 166.16  hectares . It is completely part of the FFH area “Teichfledermaus-Wäss in the Nienburg area”. The conservation area largely borders on the "Wesermarsch" conservation area, to which it also belonged before it was designated as an independent conservation area. The protected landscape area was designated as of November 10, 2016. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Nienburg / Weser.

The area is located directly west of Nienburg / Weser in the flood plain of the Weser . It consists of five sub-areas: The waters of the “Haaken Werders” ( ), the “Nienburger Gruben” ( ) and “Die Rolle” ( ) as well as the backwaters “Düsterer See” ( ) and created by sand and gravel mining "Altes Rott" ( ) as the remains of a former course of the Weser. Floating leaf and duckweed communities settle in the waters . Reeds are formed along the banks , followed by trees with riparian forest structures. In the “Haaken Werder” and “Nienburger Gruben” sub-areas, there are also small riparian forests .

The area is the habitat and hunting ground of the pond bat . It also provides a suitable habitat for various birds and dragonflies .

The waters are used with restrictions as fishing waters and by professional fishing, "Die Rolle" also as bathing waters and by a water sports club as surfing waters.

The sub-areas of the landscape protection area are predominantly surrounded by intensively used agricultural areas .
