Teodor Taras Martynjuk MSU (born February 1, 1974 in Yaremche , Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast , Soviet Union , today Ukraine ) is Ukrainian Greek Catholic auxiliary bishop in Ternopil-Sboriw .

Life

Teodor Martynjuk joined the student community in 1993 and made his perpetual profession in 1997 . He received the sacrament of ordination by Lyubomyr Husar on January 20, 2000 .

The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Bishops elected him auxiliary bishop in Ternopil-Sboriw. Pope Francis approved his election as auxiliary bishop in Ternopil-Sboriw on March 12, 2015 and appointed him titular bishop of Mopta . The Grand Archbishop of Kiev-Halych , Svyatoslaw Shevchuk , donated him episcopal ordination on May 22nd of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Ternopil-Sboriw, Vasyl Semenjuk , and Wenedykt Aleksijtschuk MSU , auxiliary bishop in Lemberg .
