Teresina Moscatiello

Teresina Moscatiello (born 1975 in Nusco , Campania ) is a German-Italian author, director and film producer.

Life

Moscatiello grew up in Ommersheim and attended the Leibniz Gymnasium in St. Ingbert . She then studied literature at the Sorbonne , as well as theater, film and television studies at the Ruhr University Bochum and directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin .

She leads workshops for acting, scriptwriting and directing, for example at the HFF Munich , the Goethe University Frankfurt or the Filmarche Berlin.

With her documentary film Weltverbesserer auf dem Kampffeld, Moscatiello tells the story of four extras in war simulations by the US Army on the Hohenfels training area in the Upper Palatinate . She produced several documentaries and feature films for cinema and TV, including Constructing Sochi by Steffi Wurster with her company Sinafilm Produktion GmbH (2014). Her film North Pole: 90 ° North is currently in preparation with her film production company Rebis Film GmbH. The film tells the dramatic expedition to the North Pole in 1928 by Umberto Nobile and his crew.

Since March 2015 she has been an elected member of the committees for the consular district of Berlin-Brandenburg for five years.
