Terje Næss

Terje Næss (born August 6, 1961 ) is a former Norwegian marathon runner .

He was Norwegian champion twice in the half marathon (1990 and 1999) and in the marathon (1999 and 2000). He won a total of three national titles on the various cross-country distances.

In 1993 he was third in the Frankfurt Marathon in 2:13:11 h, the following year he won this run in 2:13:19 h. In 1995 he finished second in the Houston Marathon with his personal best of 2:11:56 h and came in 19th place in the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg .

At the 1997 World Cup in Athens, he finished 47th.
