Teslim Fatusi (born September 17, 1977 in Surulere ) is a former Nigerian soccer player who took part in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta .
Club career
Fatusi started in the youth department of Stationery Stones FC in 1991 and got the chance to play in the first team a year later. In 1993 he went to ASEC Mimosas , a club from the Ivory Coast , before deciding a year later to accept an offer from Switzerland . He signed a contract with Servette Geneva from the Super League . After five games he was loaned out to Pecsi FC and Ferencváros Budapest .
After the Olympic Games in 1996 he came back to Switzerland. He led a very eventful footballing life. After positions at Espérance Tunis , Mamelodi Sundowns , Roeselare in Belgium , Polonia Warsaw , 1. FC Magdeburg , Saxony Leipzig , Al-Khaleej, Shooting Stars , he ended his career with two positions in the second Vietnamese league.
International career
Fatusi was a member of the victorious Nigerian soccer team at the 1996 Olympics. He was appointed to the Nigerian national soccer team five times . In his first game for the Super Eagles, he converted a penalty to win against the Czech Republic .
