Tetyana Nyliwna Jablonska (* July 11 . Jul / 24 July 1917 greg. In Smolensk , Russia ; † 17th June 2005 in Kiev , Ukraine ) was a Ukrainian painter.
Life
Tetjana Jablonska was born in Smolensk, Russia. In 1928 her family moved with her to Odessa and from there in 1930 to Kamyanets-Podilskyj and then to Luhansk . Between 1935 and 1941 she studied painting under Fedir Krychevskyj at the Kiev State Art Institute . Between 1944 and 1953 she taught drawing, painting and composition at the Kiev State Art Institute.
Jablonska took part in numerous national and international exhibitions with her paintings. The most important exhibitions in which she took part include the Biennale di Venezia in 1958 and the 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels , where she was awarded the bronze medal for her picture "Grain".
From 1975 she was a full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR and from 1997 an academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine . Jablonska lived in Kiev and died there in 2005. She is buried in the Kiev Baikowe Cemetery (section number 52a, VIP area).
family
Her father was the artist, graphic designer and literature teacher Nil Alexandrowitsch Jablonski ( Russian Нил Александрович Яблонский ; 1888-1944). Her sister was the artist Olena Jablonska ( Олена Нилівна Яблонська ; 1918–2009) and her brother the architect Dmytro Jablonskyj ( Дмитро́ Ни́лович Ябло́нський ; 1921–2001).
Her first husband was the Russian artist Sergei Borissowitsch Otroschtschenko ( Сергей Борисович Отрощенко ; 1910–1988) and her second husband was the artist Armen Atajan ( Атаян Армен Аршакович ; * 1922). Her three daughters are also artists.

Tetjana Jablonska received numerous honors. Including:

- 2001 Hero of Ukraine
- 2001 honorary citizen of Kiev
On February 21, 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine issued a 2- hryvnia commemorative coin on the occasion of its 100th birthday .
